The Los Angeles Chargers are headed to the playoffs for the first time since 2018.

They clinched a postseason berth with Monday night's 20-3 win over the Indianapolis Colts.

"I've been here long enough to know that when it comes, it's a great feeling," Keenan Allen said. "We talk about it all the time: Control what you can control. And this week, we were able to handle our own destiny and we made it happen."

It will be the first postseason appearance for Brandon Staley and Justin Herbert.

"It's just the beginning. This is not our final goal," Staley said. "We have two more games against really good teams and we need to search to play our best football so we can not only get into the playoffs but make a run to a Super Bowl championship, which is what our goal is."

The Cincinnati Bengals clinched a playoff berth with the New York Jets' loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday night.

It's the first time the Bengals will make back-to-back postseason appearances since they made five straight trips between 2011-2015.

The Minnesota Vikings clinched the NFC North title Saturday with -- ho, hum -- the biggest comeback in NFL history.

Powered by a new coaching staff and largely the same roster that had missed the postseason in three of the past four years, the Vikings overcame a 33-point halftime deficit to defeat the Indianapolis Colts 39-36 at U.S. Bank Stadium.

For the first time since 2019, the San Francisco 49ers are NFC West division champions.

And though Lumen Field has been something of a house of horrors for them for the past decade-plus, it also has been the site of their two most recent hat-and-T-shirt celebrations.

This time, the Niners wrapped up the NFC West on Thursday night against the Seattle Seahawks with a resounding 21-13 victory. When they claimed the division crown in 2019, that clinch also happened in Seattle.

Not long after Baker Mayfield led the Los Angeles Rams to a 17-16 comeback victory over the Las Vegas Raiders on Thursday night, Sean McVay stood at the podium and laughed.

"Just like we drew it up," McVay said.

The Rams won the game to snap their six-game losing streak in spectacular fashion, led by Mayfield, who was playing two days after he was claimed off waivers. Mayfield came off the bench after Los Angeles' first series, replacing starting quarterback John Wolford.
